Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate,pale blue glass enamel inset eyes,painted lashes,delicately feathered brows,accented eye corners,closed mouth with accented lips,blonde mohair wig,cork pate,kid poupee body with gusset-jointing,stitched and separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 2 (head and shoulder plate) F.G. (shoulder plate). Comments: Gaultier,circa 1875. Value Points: superb original folklore costume of brown woolen skirt with red silk apron,woolen shirt and purple woolen vest each with delicate floral embroidery,and elaborate original coiffe.
