Solid-domed bisque socket head,sculpted short brown boyish hair with forelock detail,very narrow eye sockets as though crying,inset blue eyes,painted brown curly lashes,arched brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth modeled as though open in a crying expression,shaded lips and defined tongue,French composition and wooden walking-style body which creates a crying sound when the legs are moved back and forth,wearing blue silk shirt with lace collar,ivory silk faille breeches and vest,stockings and shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 233. Comments: SFBJ,circa 1912,from their art character 200 series. Value Points: rare model with superb quality of sculpting including crinkles and folds of a crying face,fine quality of bisque.
