17" (43 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features,shaded blue eyes,painted
lashes and feathered brows,closed mouth with accented lips,blonde mohair curly hair,five-piece
jointed felt body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: R. John Wright (foot stamp) Peter No 18-
250 R. John Wright's Little Children Series I (paper label). Comments: R. John Wright,the
American doll artist,from his first series of Little Children dolls,released in 1981 in an edition of
only 250 dolls. Value Points: perfectly preserved,the curly-haired boy wears original brown felt
vest,green felt shorts,shirt,woolen leggings,leather shoes and carries a cloth knapsack,along with
original box and two paper labels (one autographed).
