Description
7" (18 cm.) Seated upon a wooden sled are two bisque-head child dolls, each with blue glass eyes, painted lashes and brows, open mouth, four teeth, brunette mohair wig, hollow carton body (designed to hold candy), wooden legs, bisque arms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 4600 S (pb in star) H. Comments: Schoneau and Hoffmeister, circa 1910, the dolls were presented originally as imaginative candy containers. Value Points: delightful presentation is entirely original including knit costumes.
