12" (30 cm.) x 10". The wooden chest with gracefully curved bombe sides and front has two
drawers,inlay panels on drawer fronts and sides with inlay-marquetry borders,elaborate bronze
trim on the feet,apron,side columns and drawer pulls,and a curved marble-top. Excellent
condition. French,19th century,the quality of workmanship and materials suggests its production
as a maitrise model.
