Description
14" (36 cm.) Bisque socket head,blue glass inset eyes,painted lashes and brows,open mouth,row
of tiny teeth,mohair wig,carton torso that forms into a floor-length cone shaped skirt below the
waist,composition arms jointed at the shoulders and elbows,four metal spoked wheels at the
base hidden beneath skirt. Condition: generally excellent,original faint firing line at back of
head. Marks: I 4/0 made in Germany. Comments: when wound,the doll "walks" on her wheeled
base and cries "mama",circa 1890. Value Points: all original and well functioning doll,original
rose cotton sateen dress and bonnet.
