10" (25 cm.) Solid-domed bisque socket head,modeled topknot and little side curls above the
ears,blue glass sleep and side-glancing googly eyes,painted lashes,short-stroke brows,tiny
nose,closed mouth with impish smile,composition five-piece toddler body,antique costume.
Condition: generally excellent,tiniest rub flake on bottom rim corner of right eye. Marks: 240 0.
Comments: Armand Marseille,circa 1915,the model was inspired by the popular Kewpie of the
time. Value Points: impish googly with very sweet expression,stylized hair,wonderful bisque and
painting.
