20" (51 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head,brown sculpted hair with forelock detail and
enhancing decorative glaze,blue glass enamel eyes in narrow squinting shape,painted long
lashes,incised eyeliner,arched brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,slightly-parted shaded
lips in smiling expression,row of porcelain teeth,French composition and wooden fully-jointed
body,boy's antique pique suit,undergarments,saddle shoes. Condition: generally excellent.
Marks: SFBJ 227 Paris 8 (head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: SFBJ,circa 1912.
Value Points: outstanding example of laughing character with deeply impressed eye
