17" (43 cm.) Bisque socket head,dark brown glass "flirty" eyes,mohair lashes,painted lower lashes,slightly modeled brush-stroked brows with feathered details,accented eye corners and nostrils,open mouth,accented lips,four porcelain teeth,pierced ears,brunette mohair wig,French composition body with jointing at shoulders,hinge-jointing at hips; when wound,the doll "walks" by alternately lifting each leg. Condition: generally excellent,Marks: SH 1039 Germany dep 7 1/2. Comments: Roullet et Decamps,circa 1890 with original bisque head commissioned from Simon and Halbig. Value Points: fabulous all original condition,the doll has her original peach silk dress with lace trim and rose silk ribbons,undergarments,socks,cream kid shoes,and elaborate woven bonnet with crepe de chine and floral trim.
