paperweight inset eyes of great depth,thick dark eyeliner,painted curly lashes,mauve blushed
eye shadow,brush-stroked and multi feathered brows,accented eye corners,shaded
nostrils,closed mouth with defined space between the shaded and outlined lips,separately-
modeled pierced ears,blonde mohair wig over cork pate,French composition and wooden
eight-loose-ball-jointed body with straight wrists and plump limbs,wearing fine antique blue
silk dress with embroidered lace trim,undergarments,stockings,black leather shoes signed
C.C. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: E.J. A 10 (head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body).
Comments: Emile Jumeau,circa 1880,the rare model was made for one or two years only,and
can be considered the first of the signature bebes by that firm. Value Points: splendid
example of the very rare bebe with finest quality of bisque enhanced by stunningly-deep
paperweight eyes,subtle blushing,deeply-impressed lip and chin dimples,original body and
body finish,superb costume and wig.
