18" (46 cm.) Standing upon a velvet-covered base is a bisque head doll with brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, accent line between the lips, pierced ears, brunette human hair hand-tied wig, carton torso and legs, bisque forearms, wearing silk Spanish style costume in the antique style, and holding a tambourine. When wound, she turns her head side to side, nods her head, and shakes the tambourine she holds in her hands. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Depose Tete Jumeau Bte SGDG 1 (head). Comments: Roullet & Decamps, circa 1890. Value Points: charming activity and music performed by the brown-eyed petite bebe.
