7" (18 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, blonde mohair wig, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs, painted mid-thigh black stockings, brown one-strap heels, silk and lace dress. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S&H 887 2. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1885. Value Points: lovely "black stocking" girl is presented in vintage paper mache egg with lithographed cover, along with various accessories including bone-handled parasol with silk cover, woven bonnet, beaded necklace, and more.
