Pressed bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate with modeled bosom and shoulder blades,very plump cheeks and throat,large blue glass paperweight eyes with spiral threading,thick dark eyeliner,painted curly lashes,mauve-blushed eye shadow,brush stroked and multi-feathered brows,accented eye corners and nostrils,closed mouth with defined space and painted teeth between the outlined lips,pierced ears,blonde mohair wig over cork pate,early kid bebe body with gusset jointing at hips and knees,bisque forearms and hands. Condition: generally excellent,tiniest pinflake on back of shoulder plate at neck rim. Marks: (crescent circle/dot symbol) 5 (head) Depose (front of shoulder plate). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru,his early circle-dot bebe model,circa 1880. Value Points: very rare luxury size of the early bebe with exemplary bisque and painting enhancing the very deeply sculpted features,rare painted teeth,splendid eyes of great depth,original sturdy body,perfect bisque hands.
