24" (61 cm.) l.,21"h. including wheel base. Firmly-stuffed dog with shaved torso,face,tail and
feet has long curly mohair muff,crown,ears,and legs,unusual brown glass eyes with appliqued
"whites" at each side of irises,embroidered nose and mouth,with pull-string "bark",metal handle
for child to hold when riding,and a metal base with four white rubber-tire metal wheels. With
original Steiff metal button on ear. Excellent condition,some mohair sparseness on crown,and
bark a bit weak. Steiff,1950s,a wonderfully designed and rare riding toy.
