11" (28 cm.) Bisque socket head,small brown glass sleep eyes,painted lashes,short feathered
brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth,modeled space between the shaded
lips,blonde curly lambswool wig,composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-
hip jointing,well costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Schneey Lockchen/562/2/0.
Comments: Bahr and Proschild,circa 1910,the unusual incised trademark signature "Schneey
Lockchen" refers to a Bavarian wildflower as well as having the literal translation of "curly white
hair" (note the wig). Value Points: very rare character,previously undocumented in existing
literature,has choicest bisque and decorations,appealing character expression,original body
finish.
