21" (53 cm.) Gypsum modeled socket head with heart-shaped face, tiny pointed nose, small closed mouth with hint of puckered lips, blue eyes, painted upper eyeliner and brows, brunette human hair wig in long braids, textured cloth body with jointing at shoulders and side hips. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Sasha Morgenthaler studio, late 1950s, variation body with slightly longer legs and well-defined thumbs. Value Points: wonderful expression of slightly fretful child in beautifully-preserved condition, wearing original brown and white checkered smock and matching shorts, brown hand-knit woolen socks and brown leather tie shoes.
