12" (30 cm.) Pink tinted porcelain shoulder head with oval-shaped face and elongated throat,black-sculpted hair with center part,drawn smoothly around the sides of her face and falling into so called "sausage" or ringlet curls onto her sloping shoulders,blue upper glancing eyes,red and black upper eyeliner,single-stroke brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with pert smile,carved wooden torso designed to accommodate the shoulder plate,shapely waist,dowel jointing at shoulders and hips,porcelain lower limbs with attached dowels,slightly-cupped fingers,painted blue stocking bows and black ankle boots. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 62/ (pencil mark on back torso). Comments: Germany,circa 1850,the doll has an original award ribbon from the 1941 Philadelphia Doll Show.
