eyes with spiral threading and darker blue iris-rims,dark eyeliner,painted lashes,arched
feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with enigmatic smiling
expression,shaded lips,pierced ears,blonde mohair wig over cork pate,French kid poupee
body with square-cut collarette and gusset-jointing,stitched and separated fingers,wearing
beautiful pale blue silk gown of antique fabrics and trim,matching
bonnet,undergarments,heeled shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: E (head and
shoulders). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru,circa 1872,his deposed model of portrait poupee
believed to represent Empress Eugenie. Value Points: an exquisite example of the rare lady
with enigmatic smile,very beautiful bisque,original body in very sturdy fresh condition.
