14" (36 cm.) Carved wooden socket head,carved hair with deeply-defined brush marks and
braids,gathered into a blue bow at the back of her head,intaglio brown eyes,white
eyedots,closed mouth with full lips,all wooden spring-jointed body,wearing antique
costume,socks and shoes and carrying little wooden doll. Condition: generally excellent,rub on
nose tip,left thumb restored. Marks: Schoenhut Doll Pat. Jan. 17,1911 USA. Comments:
Schoenhut,circa 1912. Value Points: appealing petite size,rare model with deeply sculpted hair.
