Description
10" (25 cm.) Each is all stockinette with mask-pressed and painted facial features,round side-
glancing eyes with large black pupils,curly upper lashes,small bow-shaped lips,softly-stuffed
body,velvet black sewn-on shoes; including girl with brunette mohair curls and wearing peach
and grey costume; and girl with blonde fleecy-yarn hair wearing magenta and yellow costume.
Each doll has a fanciful cluster of flowers in hair held by black netting,and black lace fingerless
gloves. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Little Shaver Madame Alexander (cloth tags on
each). Comments: Madame Alexander,circa 1940. Value Points: fresh costumes and facial
painting on the storybook girls with wonderful costumes.
