13" (33 cm.) Bisque socket head,blue glass side-glancing googly eyes,dark eyeliner,five lashes
painted on each upper eyelid,high painted brows with feathered details,button-shaped
nose,closed mouth with sweet smiling expression,brunette mohair bobbed wig,composition and
wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing,antique costume. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: Heubach KIoppelsdorf 318 7/0 Germany A.H. Schalkau DRGM . Comments:
Heubach Koppelsdorf for Albin Hess who registered the head model in 1923; the model was
used for their lamp doll (see lot 18) or as this model with traditional pate cut. Value Points: very
rare model whose captivating expression and fine quality of bisque and painting rivals the rarity.
