26" (66 cm.) Composition shoulder head with round chubby face,sculpted short blonde curly
hair,sleep eyes,painted curly upper lashes and one-stroke brows,open mouth with two upper
teeth,firmly-stuffed muslin torso and upper legs,jointing at shoulder and hips,composition arms
and lower legs. Condition: generally excellent,muslin body has some small age spots. Marks:
Effanbee Bubbles copr 1924 Made in USA. Comments: Effanbee,the doll was introduced in 1924
in various sizes,this 26" size apparently being the largest. Value Points: rare size,and superbly-
preserved condition,the doll wears fine original costume with Effanbee cloth tag,and has
Effanbee necklace,publicity envelope with photograph,and her original (worn) labeled box.
