8" (20 cm.) and 13". Each is all-cloth with oil painted complexion,facial features and impasto
painted short blonde hair,painted blue eyes,red and black upper eyeliner,painted lashes,closed
mouth,stitched-ears,very thickly painted short blonde hair in impasto style,stitch-jointed
limbs,nice antique costumes. Condition: both with original painted finish on face and hair,the
smaller with some cheek smudges,each with possible touch-up on hands. Marks: (Chase logo
design on leg of larger). Comments: Martha Chase,circa 1890. Value Points: charming
pair,including the extremely rare tiniest size Chase doll with wonderful expression,very long and
lush lashes.
