Description
13" (33 cm.) h. x 20"l. x 8"d. A wooden store with
display cabinets at both sides of the open front
has arched pediment trim,a fitted back display
cabinet with open shelves and free-standing
counter. The store has original cream painted
finish with blue stencil trim,lithographed-paper
on exterior,and original wall and floor paper
inside. The shelves are filled to overflowing with
toys,dolls and other playthings including
rolly-dolly,bisque dolls (several in original
boxes),Erzebirge wooden figures and vehicles,paper
mache horses,paper clown face with pull-string
tongue,wooden skis,carved wooden nutcracker
soldiers,bisque Polichinelle,rocking horses,lead
soldiers,teddy bears,snow baby,miniature blocks in
original box,and much more. Two bisque dolls stand
behind the counter. Excellent condition,finish on
store wood is original albeit rubbed.
Gottschalk,circa 1900,a fabulous store with
seemingly-endless little treasures.
