Description
7" (18 cm.) and 8". Each has bisque socket head
with amber-tinted complexion,brown glass inset
eyes in narrow side-slant sockets,black single
stroke arched brows,painted lashes,open mouth,four
tiny teeth,black mohair wig,the larger with
amber-tinted composition and wooden ball-jointed
body,the smaller with five-piece body. Condition:
generally excellent. Marks: 1129 Germany Simon &
Halbig S&H. Comments: Simon and Halbig,circa 1900.
Value Points: beautiful little pair with lovely
bisque and sculpting,wearing matching silk
costumes with embroidered details. Included is a
Chinese wooden lacquered cabinet.
