17" (43 cm.) All-cloth doll with pressed and oil painted facial features and hair, brown short curly hair with forehead details, painted brown eyes, black and brown upper eyeliner, closed mouth with downcast lips, plump cheeks, stitch-jointed shoulders, disc-jointed hips, costume appears original. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Kathe Kruse 13356 (doll). Comments: Kathe Kruse, circa 1915. Value Points: well-preserved early model with wistful expression.
