9" (23 cm.) bookcase,6" revolving bookcase. 2"
books. The three-shelved wooden wall book case
holds a complete set of 40 miniature works (each
2"h) by Shakespeare published by Allied Newspapers
in 1932,each book with an illustrated frontispiece
of a play scene,with marbled end-papers and black
leatherette cloth covers with lightly-printed
titled; the bookcase was originally sold with the
set of books. Excellent condition of bookcase and
books. Along with a revolving wooden bookcase
containing other miniature Shakespeare
works,published by David Bryce and Co of
Glascow,early 20th century. Bookcase
excellent,books are quite worn. And with a
decorative bonze statue of pheasant,excellent
condition.
