Description
6" (15 cm.) h. largest tureen. Of creamy
soft-paste with lavish flowing blue floral
decorations,the child or doll-sized dinner service
comprises lidded footed tureen,two oval lidded
casseroles,two gravy boats with attached
under-tray,unusual relish dish with pitcher
center,scallop-edge footed compote,pair of two
small covered dishes with under-trays,large bowl
with drain dish,six oval platters,two relish
dishes,five oval platters,four round serving
plates,seventeen various plates or soup bowls,two
fruit bowls,and two ladles. Excellent condition
except repair to ladles. Each piece has blue stamp
"Parseme No3" and is attributed to Petrus Regout
of Maastricht,Netherlands,circa 1890. Along with
12 menu cards with hand-written menus for lavish
banquets,1890 era.
