Of fine white porcelain with rich pink bands and gold and black pencil-striped edging,the service comprises a lidded footed tureen,double-handled sauce dish with attached under-tray,covered sauce dish with attached under-tray,24 various plates and bowls,and footed compote. Along with a set of pewter cutlery for six,in its original sateen-lined box,comprising bone-handled knives,forks and spoons,and a serving spoon. Excellent condition. French,circa 1880.
