10" (25 cm.) x 7" box. A light-wooden box with
decorative paper covers,silver paper borders and
gilt letters "Toilette" on the lid along the
maker's signature "JLP (intertwined letters) Paris
Marque Depose"; the lid hinges open to reveal
originally-fitted contents including porcelain
wash bowl and pitcher,two matching lidded
jars,various wrapped
soaps,mirrors,comb,perfumes,and other accessories.
Excellent condition French,circa 1890.
