8" (20 cm.) h. room. 6"h. canopy. A five-panel folding room of heavy stock has two glass windows,original elaborate wall papers with gilt edging,original gilt paper valances and curtains with gilt-star appliques,four original engravings glued to walls with embossed gilt paper "frames". Along with original furnishings of natural wood with gilt paper edging,including sleigh bed with canopy,pedestal table,five chairs,fernery,and toilette table with mirror. The set is presented in its original box whose blue paper lining serves as the doll room floor. Excellent condition. French,circa 1875.
