10" (25 cm.) The wood-framed chair is entirely-upholstered excepting the four feet hidden behind the fringed trim,with thick firmly-stuffed padding and tapestry cover,trimmed with thick braided fringe and cording. Excellent condition. French,Napoleon III era.
