15" (38 cm.) Carved wooden shoulderhead of lady with very expressive features, elongated face with very full chin and elongated throat, inset enamel eyes under heavy lids, painted brows and nostrils, closed mouth with sculpted teeth, sculpted pierced ears, sculpted brown hair with defined bun, padded armature arms and legs, carved wooden feet and hands, painted black shoes, wearing original costume with elaborately-constructed bodice and apron which emphasize her voluptuous shape, and with coral earrings and necklace. Excellent condition. Tyrolean, early 1800s.
