Description
4 1/2" (11 cm.) shoulders. To fit lady doll about
18"-20". Of a fine brown silk with narrow black
interwoven stripes,the two-piece gown features a
hip-length jacket over skirt with
elaborately-arranged horizontal draping above a
wide band of pleats at the hem,with constructed
bustle at the back. The jacket is trimmed with
brown velvet and black cord trim,and the costume
is displayed on a vintage mannequin form of wood
and paper mache. Excellent condition. French,circa
1875.
