Description
12" (30 cm.) Each is of metal with spiral-twist
design of the frame and original gilt finish and
original crushed velvet upholstery,including arm
chair with green stamp "Maison Huret Boulevard
Montmartre 22 Paris" on the underside; and
pedestal table with brass nail edging above
original wool fringe,and having original paper
label "Maison Boul Montmartre 22" on underside
sateen cover. Structurally excellent,finish is
original albeit rubbed. French,Maison Huret,the
furniture was designed as miniature versions of
the life-size furniture that was the specialty of
Maison Huret,with the purpose of display with the
signature Huret poupee; luxury objects at the
time,the furnishings are very rare to find today.
