Description
8 1/2" (22 cm.) x 6" box. 5" doll. A light-wooden
box with decorative paper covers and a lithograph
of little boy in baker's costume on the lid,hinges
open to reveal a well-fitted interior,with
all-bisque doll having painted features,blue
eyes,closed mouth,blonde mohair wig,pin-jointed
arms and legs,wearing chef's costume and cap,along
with a collection of foods including
chops,sausages,breads,rolls,and more,all still
tied into the original presentation. Excellent
unplayed with condition. For the French
market,presented in the department store Etrennes
catalogs,circa 1900.
