Description
25" (64 cm.) l. x 14"h. x 14"d. A wooden store
with angled sides to give extra dimension to the
store has ribbed columns with arched pediment at
each side front,and an elaborate arrangement of
shelving,cabinets,counter,and mirror,all of which
are attached to the store walls and across the
front opening. The store is painted original ochre
with blue and red pencil-stripe trim,gilt painting
on the mirror glass,and architectural details
including clock,fret-work and shaped window frames
on cabinet. There are original floor and wall
papers,and an ormolu and glass chandelier suspends
above. The store is lavishly furnished with a
collection of miniature glass ware including rare
faux-oil lamps,vases,pitchers and glasses,as well
as porcelain statuary,tea set,and a collection of
white bisque animal figures. A beautiful shop with
Art Nouveau stylized features and unusual designs.
Excellent condition except wall paper very worn.
