The four poster wooden cradle of fine hardwood has flat-top finials, dowel-jointing and nicely shaped rocker base; the cradle is designed for a secondary use because when turned upside down its very solid flat-topped finials serve as legs for a sturdy bench or stool. Excellent condition. American, mid-1800s, along with antique cotton quilt.
