53" (135 cm.) h. x 24"w. x 15"d. Designed to fit against a wall,the flat-backed cabinet shelf of pinewood with wood-grained oak finish enhanced with brown stencils has various hanging hooks and shelves,dark green faux-slate counter,and lower cabinet with double doors. The cabinet is filled to overflowing with child-sized kitchenware and dishes,centered by a large tin stove with claw feet (probably Maerklin). Surrounding the stove are a myriad of kitchen utensils including painted-tin coffee grinder with copper lid,painted tin scales with two brass pans,wooden-based slicer,tin laundry tub with enamel blue scenes of windmill and village along with various pieces of ironed laundry and laundry accessories,cookie cutters,another scale,other sundry ware,and a rare lithographed-tin "grocery list" sign ("Merktafel") with movable buttons to designate needed supplies. The cabinet is decorated with a plethora of blue and white porcelain dishes and kitchen tools including: rare stacking carry-out lunch plates in original wire frame,large lidded tureen,three porcelain bowls with bent-wire frames,rare spoon holder with wooden pedestal and porcelain cap,having six soft-metal spoons,six wooden-handled utensils with blue-decorated porcelain parts including pie-crimper,sieves,ladle and rolling pin,six brass knives with blue-decorated porcelain handles signed "Uchatius Bronce",coffee pot with matching sugar and creamer,three other creamers,six cups and saucers,nine various dinner plates or bowls,six small bowls,two gravy boats,wall boxes for "Salz" and "Mehl",oil cruet,funnel and a porcelain faux-clock. Excellent condition,three cups with repair,few other minor flakes. Germany,circa 1910,an outstanding and extremely rare child's play cabinet with rare accessories.
