3 1/2" (9 cm.) The gouache painting on heavy paper depicts an elegant woman in soft pastel colors,signed Duval,and presented in fine antique frame with garland ribbon trim. The back papers are ink-inscribed Marie de la Fontaine. Age uncertain.
