Description
13" (33 cm.) x 9 1/2" base. 6" dolls. Four bisque
miniature dolls with glass eyes,open mouth,four
teeth,blonde mohair wigs,antique costumes,are
posed upon a wooden platform with
lithographed-paper cover. A wooden music stand at
the center holds sheet music,one girl holds a
sheet,and three girls hold musical instruments.
When wound,music plays,they turn their heads side
to side,and move their arms as though playing the
instruments they hold. Very good condition,some
fading and dustiness of papers and
costumes,mechanism and music function well.
Germany,Zinner and Sohne,circa 1890,a luxury
presentation by that firm with four little dolls.
