Description
8" (20 cm.) Earthenware jardiniere with majolica
enamel finish in shades of green,rose and
cream,and in high Art Nouveau sculpting with
figural face on the bowl and stylized flowers
sculpted at the base of the tree-trunk-shaped
pedestal. Illegible numbers incised on base with
red ink mark of artist. Maker uncertain,circa
1890. Superb accessory for doll environment of
great rarity and workmanship.
