26" (66 cm.) h. x 20"l. x 12"d. A well-detailed
house two-story house with both front and side
windows,architectural details on the exterior
enhanced by lithographed paper brick and green
painted trim. The interior has four
rooms,including living room with red velvet
upholstered furnishings and Walterhausen marble
top desk and cabinet; the kitchen has painted
furnishings and tin stove; the upper salon has
rare silk upholstered furnishings with fringed
detail,fireplace,piano,cabinet and marble-top
table; and the small nursery has swinging soft
metal cradle,sewing table,fireplace,and chairs.
Accessories include tiger head rug,silver
service,books,candle holders,easel with
print,parlor stove,and much more. Eight people
live in the home. Good condition except the roof
sides are very worn,interior wall and floor papers
original. Germany,circa 1880,a wonderful size
house with charming furnishings and people.
