34" (86 cm.) The large two-story dollhouse has lithographed paper cover to simulate architectural details,over-hanging front porch roof with columns,opening door with classic Gottschalk silver handle,three glass windows at the front and two at each side,extended-height (removable) turret with blue steeple roof,and original base with marbled platform to simulate stone foundation. Access to the house interior is at either side,both sides hinging open to the four interior rooms with opening doors between and having fine original wall and floor papers. Good condition of exterior with some paper wear,interior excellent. Germany,probably Gottschalk,circa 1900,for the French market.
