30" (76 cm.) x 16"h. x 11"d. A wooden grocery store with natural wood finish on front and interior shelving has originally painted ochre exterior with red pencil striping. There are two hinged display windows at the front that swing open for easy play,and the entire back wall is fitted with drawers,shelving and display niches separated by fancy columns and arches. Each of 16 drawers has its original lithographed tin label with name. There is a free-standing matching counter,and the store is filled with various groceries,tins,canisters and supplies including a rare floor scale,lithographed tin cabinet,and paper roll. Excellent condition. Germany,attributed to August Hermann,circa 1890.
