20"d. 20"d. The two story wooden house has
original painted cream finish with gold accents
and lithographed paper roof. Double doors with
carved valance open between the first-floor
rooms,and the larger living room has a detachable
sun-room at the back with valance trim to match
the double doors. The kitchen is curiously placed
on the second floor,as is the bathroom. Each room
has original lithographed paper floor and wall
papers. The house is richly furnished with antique
furnishings of the era,notably red-stained parlor
and bedroom set with gilt-stenciling,and a painted
blue ensemble with maker's original paper label on
the underside (see photo detail). Accessories
include lithographed tin grandfather's clock,tin
stove,porcelain clock,ceramic stove,hanging
fixtures,bear rug,tin carriage,as well as many
object shown in the detail photographs. Very
good/excellent original condition with some
typical play wear. The original table is separate
and the house can be displayed with or without it.
