Description
49" (124 cm.) l. x 19"h. x 20"d. The large
two-room wooden doll house has papered exterior to
simulate marble,four large windows,double opening
doors between the rooms,and original interior
floor paper to simulate parquet,and wall paper in
the Chinoiserie style with black paper borders,and
gilt edging. The rooms have antique maroon silk
and velvet curtains and valances with gold braid
and pom-poms. and the furnishings include crystal
chandelier,rare velvet-upholstered oak
furnishings,maroon velvet upholstered
furnishings,marble top pieces and tall
chests,Accessories include grand ormolu hall
mirror,well-laden tables of soft pewter,salon
dog,wonderful prints and wall hangings,needlework
carpets,and more. The house is attended by three
gentlemen (two with moustache) and a lady. Good
condition,with some separation,one trim missing on
double door,paper is original albeit worn.
