Description
17" (43 cm.) l. x 9"h. x 8"d. The charming tiny
bake shop has original cream-painted facade with
blue trim and having two display windows,blue
painted floor and exterior wall,and original
interior wall and floor lithographed-paper covers.
There is built-in shelving on the back wall with
mirrored display niche,free-standing counter,and
small hanging wall shelf. The shelves are filled
with gesso or paper mache baked goods of all
types,two sugar loafs,wooden boxes,and a rare tin
display rack (probably Maerklin) with glass lidded
jars. A glass lamp is suspended,and there are two
people in the shop. Good condition. Germany,circa
1900.
