8" (20 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta shoulderhead of young black-complexioned pageboy, black sculpted tightly-curled short hair, enamel eyes, closed lips, tow-wrapped posable armature body, carved wooden lower arms and legs, painted yellow boots and blue stockings, wearing original costume comprising silk shirt and vest with gilt threading, silk harem pants, cap, and carrying a silver vase. Excellent condition. Neapolitan, mid-1700s.
