15" (38 cm.) Bisque socket head of adult woman with oval face, very angular cheeks and chin, shapely defined nose, blue glass sleep eyes, mohair lashes, painted lower lashes, feathered brows with modeling detail, accented nostrils of aquiline nose, closed mouth with center accent line, pierced ears, brunette human hair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique lady's costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 6 1303 deep S&H Germany (head) Wimpern (red stamp on head) Heinrich Handwerck Germany (torso). Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1900, the rare glass-eyed variation of the 1303 model. Value Points: especially fine quality of sculpting and soft matte bisque, original mohair lashes.
